The rear is unloading faster than it can hold — bias too far back, a diff too free on coast, or too much rake making the nose bite while the rear is light.

    Coming off the brake abruptly throws load rearward and the rear steps before you have finished turning.

    None — a smoother release is never the slower option.

    Braking and turning at once asks the rear for both jobs at the limit of one. Separating them gives the rear only one thing to do.

    Slower in theory, faster in practice for most drivers in a low-grip car.

    A fast hand movement is a fast weight transfer. The rear steps because it was asked to change direction quicker than it could load.

Step sizes are a first move, not a setting. Cars differ by a factor of several in how much they respond to the same change.
