The car

Spec / fixed setup · Front-engined · Turbocharged straight-six

Heavier and far more powerful than the other rookie car, and it drives like it. Front-engined and rear-driven with real torque, so it will step the rear on exit in a way the MX-5 never does, and it carries more speed into a corner than a beginner expects to have to lose.

Where to start. Slow the entry and straighten the car before the throttle. The power is the part that catches people out, and it catches them out on exit.

The one to expect. There is enough torque here to overwhelm the rears while the wheel is still turned — wait for it to unwind.
Won't turn in / pushes on entry
Front-engined and not light. Carrying too much speed in loads the front early and there is no aero to rescue it.
Falls off over a stint
Weight and power together are hard on rear tyres. A stint that starts aggressively finishes slowly.
